2014; Ready or Not

Upon noticing that I haven't given an update on my life as of late, I decided it was time for some pictures. :)
I was able to go home for Christmas, it was SO nice to be with my family. I sure miss them while I'm at school. First off, being an aunt is possibly THE best thing in the world. But seriously. For instance:

Me and William at the movie theater getting ready to watch "Frozen." I got to hold this guy on my lap the whole time, it was the best! Not to mention that "Frozen" is one of my new favorite movies. :)

William kept insisting on wrestling with me, which mostly just turns into a tickle fight when I'm around.

I got to babysit my sister's kids one night, and Henry was so cute (as usual). He is very good at pulling my hair, however... and pulling OUT my eyelashes... He started reaching for my eye and pulled an eyelash right off of his unsuspecting aunt. I even caught him in the act!

Apparently Henry's "not ready for the camera" face is a little funky...I cannot look at this picture without laughing:)
Here's a collage of some of my favorites. Please note the one of Henry giving me a kiss. This was not planned. He is just the sweetest little guy! What a cutie.
In June I will have 21 nieces and nephews! And I love every single one!:)

The brother-in-laws playing Twister on Christmas Eve...hehe. Poor Mike ;)

AJ and Lexi were troopers in twister. I think AJ will have his splits pretty soon!;)

Just an update, I did get the Little Mermaid puzzle I wanted for Christmas, hehe. :) My dad helped me and we got it done!:)

Anna and I peeled off our faces. I mean..face masks..on New Years Eve. ;)
We went to the ice castle in Midway on New Years Day, and it was pretty cool! Since we had just seen Frozen, my nieces told me they were all Elsa and I was Anna.

This is our family Christmas Card this year. It kind of makes me look like an only child, but it's whatever;) I sure do love my parents.

I sure do love these girls! I was able to say goodbye to Emily before she left for 18 months  for her mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I'm so proud of her!:)
One day I was able to witness this beautiful view of one of my very favorite places. It is such a breathtaking temple of the Lord and I love it so much:)
 No judging.
Well, Noteworthy rehearsals are back! Marissa and I kicked it off with our scarf turbans..
After our retreat for the weekend we were able to both sing the National Anthem and perform at half-time at the BYU Men's Basketball game! It was a lot of fun and such a rush! We also got to say hi to President Samuelson and see the basketball players from just a few feet away!

My friend came down to BYU and spent her birthday with us, and we made paper boats, among many other things! It was a lot of fun:) Don't worry, we took the boats out of the water so the ducks wouldn't die. ;P

It's the start of a new semester, and I'm excited for all the new adventures to come! Up next, San Diego with my Noteworthy Ladies for our competition!:)

For When Life Knocks Ya Down

In lieu of the fact that sometimes life happens, I think you should all watch this video.  It really is amazing, and super comforting! Sometimes we don't get what we want, or what we think we need.  Sometimes there's something different and bigger in store for us.  Now it's our job to figure out what that is, and in the future, it'll all make sense.  Life throws ya a curve ball sometimes, but hey, when life throws ya lemons...(except that phrase is annoying, but you get the gist;))

Have a smashing day, and all that jazz.
