I came across some things that reminded me of awesome memories the other day, one in particular being when I was in The Drowsy Chaperone! Ah! What an awesome experience that was. The Drowsy Chaperone was definitely my favorite character I've ever been. I mean, come on, I was a drunk lady who got seduced by a European named Aldolpho! Not to mention I got to constantly break the fourth wall, which is hardly ever acceptable on stage. PLUS. I got to have short, black hair and dark makeup for a bit...which was actually super fun to try out;) As a ginger, dark makeup has never really been a possibility if I want to look like a semi-functional human being, so that was definitely an adventure ;) I found a clip of my main song, "As We Stumble Along" on youtube...fast forward to about 5 minutes for the dialogue beforehand, or to 7 minutes if you feel like watching the song!:) I'm getting major nostalgia here...
